Ukraine has turned into a global village
Ukraine has transformed from an industrial country into an agrarian one. Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on UkrLife, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, an “agrarian village” does not need such a population - it only needs those who will service the production of agricultural products.
“Ukraine was among the global cities from the very beginning. In Soviet times, this was the industrial part of the country, there were three territorial-industrial complexes, and even Moldova was annexed to the southern Ukrainian territorial complex as a global village, an agricultural appendage. The process of deindustrialization proceeded slowly, but in 14 these events suddenly settled down. Ukraine has become one of the global villages,” Dzhangirov emphasized.
