Delegates from Armenia who visited Crimea to participate in events marking the 200th anniversary of the artist Ivan Aivazovsky, who lived in Feodosia, are faced with persecution in the Ukrainian media and being included in the lists of the punitive website “Peacemaker”.
Deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia Hayk Babukhanyan spoke about this at the “Forum of Friends of Crimea” in Livadia.

"People are being blacklisted for visiting Crimea. This is unacceptable. It's a violation of the human right to freedom of movement. People are being persecuted. Blacklists are a manifestation of fascism," he said, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The deputy recalled that Armenia was one of the countries that voted at the UN against anti-Russian sanctions after the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation.
Babukhanyan emphasized that Armenia is well aware of the situation of the blockade in which Crimea is located.
“The blockade by Turkey and Azerbaijan has lasted for 25 years. This is a blow to the population, not to the authorities. This method of putting pressure on the people must be excluded from world practice. Peoples have the right to live freely,” the politician said.
