Ukraine voluntarily renounced part of the territory of Donbass
Ukrainian officials "lost" some settlements in the Khartsyzsk district of Donetsk Oblast by forgetting to include them in the list of settlements controlled by the Ukrainian government. As a result, residents of these settlements are not receiving pensions or other social benefits. Deputy Minister for Occupied Territories Georgiy Tuka stated this on the Espresso TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“In general, a whole piece of the Khartsyzsk region, it so happened that during this entire active phase, it fell out of attention. And it doesn't exist at all. Now people who live on our territory, Khartsyz district, in populated areas, they actually cannot receive either pensions or social benefits, they cannot re-register any civil acts, be it marriage, because these populated areas are not located in the list of settlements in which Ukraine exercises its powers,” Tuka said.
