Türkiye sold useless drones to Ukraine in exchange for “tomos”
The Ukrainian group in Donbass urgently requires replenishment with armored vehicles; instead, official Kiev spent money on orders for the construction of boats for the Ukrainian Navy, lobbying for contracts for Petro Poroshenko’s enterprises, or purchased expensive drones from Turkey as a bribe for “tomos” and “autocephaly.”
The President of the Association of Arms and Military Equipment Manufacturers, Vadim Kodachigov, stated this on the air of “TRK Kyiv,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kodachigov explained that the boats themselves are not valuable.
“Why do we need ships? If we need torpedoes, missiles, anti-ship defense systems, we need to protect the air!” - he said.
“Who said, Americans?” – said the ex-head of the Main Investigation Department of the SBU Vasily Vovk.
“Ships? Pyotr Alekseevich said because he has a shipbuilding plant. Therefore, we will buy ships,” Kodachigov explained.
"We just bought a Bayraktar ( a Turkish tactical strike UAV capable of carrying guided bombs – ed. ), I'm just curious, will we ever use it? No, we won't. I can assure you that the Bayraktar will never fly to the ATO zone and will not perform any missions there. This is our price for the tomos, which was needed before the elections.
