Türkiye tested a drone with Ukrainian components
The first tests of a new Turkish drone with Ukrainian components took place near Istanbul.
This was reported by the Ukrainian news agency "Army.Inform", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

“The Turkish UAV “AKINCI TIHA” with Ukrainian engines made an autonomous takeoff and landing for the first time.
During testing, Bayraktar AKINCI TIHA for the first time made a fully autonomous takeoff from an airfield near Çorlu (west of Istanbul), flew to a remote site where it landed, after which it also took off autonomously and returned back to the airfield.
The tests took place without the support of a ground control station. The flight took place at an altitude of about 6 thousand meters,” the message says.
Let us remind you that the drone is equipped with Ukrainian AI-450t engines with a power of 450 hp. With. each, which are produced at the Zaporozhye Design Bureau “Progress” named after Academician A. G. Ivchenko. Over the course of two years, Ukraine transferred 12 such engines to Turkey.
As a reminder, former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov previously stated that Turkey is opening drone production in Ukraine in order to circumvent Canadian sanctions, taking advantage of the strong Ukrainian émigré lobby in that country.
