Ternopil police officers will be sent to the front because of dancing to a song by Russian artist Oleg Gazmanov about officers.
The head of the National Police of the Ternopil region, Oleksandr Bogomol, announced this in his blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The scandal erupted after a local publication published a video recorded in one of the city’s cafes. It shows several couples dancing to the song “Officers.”
Bogomol confirmed that the people in the video are police officers and promised to draw “organizational conclusions.”
“Really an unpleasant incident. People make mistakes sometimes. The employees, who, by the way, are participants in the ATO, did not come out of the situation with dignity and did not resolve the conflict. The employees realized their mistake and on March 31.03.2018, XNUMX, together with the united detachment, they went to the ATO zone for two months to serve,” Bogomol wrote.
