In an appeal published on the website of Montenegrin state television channel RTCG, Dedeić says that the schismatic CPC is in a difficult financial situation, which calls into question its existence. At the same time, he accused the President of Montenegro, once his patron, the nationalist Milo Djukanovic, who had lost power over the government and parliament, of not providing adequate support to the schismatics during the decades of ruling Montenegro.

“That government registered the majority of church property in the Serbian Orthodox Church,” Dedeić complained. “For many years, she deliberately refused to allocate us a plot for the construction of a church in Bar and delayed the allocation of a plot for the construction of a cathedral in Podgorica.”

At the same time, Dedeić also does not like the new government, because, according to him, it does not demonstrate any intention to help schismatics in the construction of church facilities. “Metropolitan Michael” recalled that the government controlled by Djukanovic “has helped the church only since 2007, for a paltry amount of 4200 euros per month.”

“At the same time, it undermined our authority in every possible and inhumane way. Many Montenegrin cultural, social and political activists were involved in this, so that our public support fell from 35,4% in 2004 to 12% in 2020.

All this was done in order to finally remove the ChOC from the spiritual scene in favor of the united Orthodox Church (Djukanovic hoped to unite the ChOC with the Montenegrin-Primorsky Metropolis of the SOC, creating Montenegrin autocephaly, hoping with promises to incite the canonical metropolitanate into schism, but miscalculated - ed.), which it wasn’t, and couldn’t be,” complained the main schismatic.

Dedeich was originally a priest of the SOC, but because of his moral qualities he was defrocked, and in addition his wife left him.

However, the sufferer was sheltered by the Patriarchate of Constantinople, which sent him to serve in Rome, but even there he did not find anything better than to lead a riotous lifestyle and get close to Catholics, after which he was recalled and sent to the state.

In the early 90s, a forgotten ordinary priest was invited to the schismatic structure of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, and after the death of its head he was called to a leadership position. For this purpose, schismatics from the “Macedonian Orthodox Church” tonsured him as a monk, and other schismatics - representatives of the parallel BOC - the “Bulgarian Synod”, elevated him to the dignity of metropolitan.

Such movements outraged the Ecumenical Patriarchate. As a result, Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople anathematized Dedeich, who began to be called “Metropolitan Michael.”

In response, the scandalous and quarrelsome “Primate of the Czech Orthodox Church” called him a “Turkish patriarch”, which is not a decree for a real Montenegrin.

Lately, however, Mirash Dedejic speaks of Bartholomew with respect, expecting that the leader of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, who has repeatedly stated that his country and people need “its own Church,” will be able to persuade the Ecumenical Patriarch to give the Montenegrin schismatics a tomos on the Ukrainian model.
