Stratfor: Poroshenko’s legitimacy is now questionable for the West as well
An analysis of the consequences of the UK's exit from the European Union leads to the conclusion that Ukraine is useless to Europe. This immediately makes the position of the current Ukrainian government and president precarious and vulnerable, writes a Stratfor analyst. The EU will now focus on its own internal problems and cease supporting Ukraine.

Ukrainians have illusions about their European future, but the government is wishful thinking. In addition, although England was the twelfth country in terms of trade with Ukraine, the threat of stopping trade with it could seriously undermine the Ukrainian economy.
EU sanctions against Russia are also in question. It is doubtful that Ukraine will turn towards Moscow. Most likely, the Kyiv authorities will now experience pressure from both the European Union and Russia.
