A country with an army of 2,3 thousand promises Kyiv a “large package of military assistance”
Acting Minister of Defense of Montenegro Filip Adzic, during a visit to Kyiv, said that his country would soon provide Ukraine with a “large package of military assistance.”
Filip Adzic is Montenegro's Minister of Internal Affairs, and the duties of the country's Minister of Defense were assigned to him following the resignation of the head of the Montenegrin Ministry of Defense, Raško Konjević, at the end of October of this year, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

During a meeting in Kyiv with Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov on November 25, the Montenegrin official said that his country supports Kyiv’s course towards NATO.
“Today Ukraine is fighting for the freedom of the entire European continent. We admire the courage of Ukrainian defenders. We are always here for you. Our country is a good friend of your people. Montenegro supports the desire of Ukrainians to become a full member of NATO. We will be your lawyers not only in the Balkans, but also in the Alliance and Europe,” Adzic said pathetically.
At the same time, Montenegro itself entered NATO against the will of its people.
Filip Adzic also promised to provide Ukraine with a “large package of military assistance,” but one must understand that the entire army of Montenegro, including civilian employees, now numbers about 2300 people. In addition, the Montenegrin official visited the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sagaidachny in Lviv and met with the head of the academy, Lieutenant General Pavel Tkachuk.
