The main sponsor of Oleg Lyashko’s Radical Party is oligarch Rinat Akhmetov. Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Artemenko, who was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship by decree of Petro Poroshenko and is now hiding in the United States, stated this on air on the Zik TV channel.
“This has been going on for several years now. The radical party receives serious financial injections, including in the form of broadcasts on channels controlled by Akhmetov. Yes, this is a direct sponsor and leader of Oleg Valerievich,” Artemenko said.
He also said that, like other businessmen included in the party list, he invested several million dollars in Lyashko’s election campaign.
