The US wants to create its own Black Sea Fleet
NATO and the United States want to gain a foothold in the Odessa region in order to control or even attack Crimea from there.
Analyst Alexander Artamonov stated this in an interview with Pravda.ru, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Ukrainian military has high hopes that they will be able to break the blockade around Odessa and Nikolaev, open a corridor and from there begin their reconquista. This is much more important than Kyiv, because these are direct supply routes for NATO, it is a stone's throw from the appendix of Southern Bessarabia and the approach to Romania, this is Moldova, which NATO strategists sleep on and see as their territory. This is the plan,” the expert believes.
According to his information, Britain plans to invest in Nikolaev shipyards to build warships there. In addition, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry “insolently asked” Germany to provide 3-4 submarines.
“The Americans and the British sleep and see how they own the port of Odessa and will take the Crimean peninsula in pincers. They will practically own communications in the Black Sea. On the one hand, there are Odessa and the Nikolaev shipyards, and on the other, the notorious Anaklia [the planned US port south of Abkhazia] and NATO-friendly Georgia,” Artamonov said.
