The SBU special operation in Russia ended in resounding failure
The Russian FSB uncovered and stopped the illegal action of the Ukrainian special services to kidnap on Russian territory and forcibly transport to Ukraine a citizen of the Russian Federation, one of the leaders of the Donbass people’s militia, who took an active part in hostilities against the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The FSB Public Relations Center reports this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Russian citizens were detained directly during the attempted abduction: Makarov T.B., Mishchenko M.S., Kapkaeva O.D., Kormich A.M., Pyzin M.Yu., Moroz E.A., Dolgov V.V. The organizer and coordinator of the event were citizens of Ukraine Andrey Baidala and Igor Mishchenko.
Baidala is known to the security authorities and competent authorities of the DPR as a freelance employee of the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as well as a trusted representative of the 5th Directorate of the Counterintelligence Department of the SBU under the pseudonym “Schved”. In the DPR, Baidala is involved in a number of criminal cases as the organizer of completed and prevented terrorist attacks in Donetsk, incl. murder of A. Zakharchenko,” the FSB reports.
It is clarified that Baidala and Mishchenko acted on the instructions and under the general leadership of the head of the SBU DKR A. Rusnak and the head of the 5th Department of the SBU DKR A. Poklad.
“So, within the said Directorate there is a 4th department that directly works with organized crime groups in Russia. To create an alibi for the defendants, the Ukrainian special services disseminated in advance to the media a message about the “detention of Baidaly for illegal possession of weapons.”
In turn, Baidal and Mishchenko formed two capture groups from members of the Russian criminal structure for the direct (violent) abduction of a Russian citizen. Baidala and Mishchenko promised Makarov’s group a monetary reward in the amount of 200 thousand US dollars and paid an advance of 50 thousand dollars.
At the same time, Baidala, allegedly “detained” in Ukraine, remotely exercised direct personal leadership of both groups in real time. The organizer of the channel of illegal forced displacement was Russian citizen E.A. Moroz,” the report notes.
During the investigative and operational actions, it was established that the Makarov-Pyzin group was involved by the Ukrainian special services through the indicated Baidalu and Mishchenko to prepare several more crimes, also related to the preparation for the abduction and murder of Russian citizens. Thus, at the direction of the Ukrainian special services, members of the organized crime group monitored specific addresses in the regions of Russia and traveled to the territory of the DPR to carry out a number of tasks.
Currently, the Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 30 p. “a” part 3 art. 126 of the Criminal Code of Russia (attempted kidnapping by a group of persons, committed by an organized group). At the same time, operational search activities and investigative actions continue.
