Thanks to the “raguls”: soon there will be no Ukrainians left in Donbass – Bortnik
In Crimea and the republics of Donbass, the layer of population that in Ukraine was called Russian-speaking Ukrainians is disappearing, and Russians are appearing in their place.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Every tenth child in Ukraine today studies in schools in territories that are not under the control of Ukraine. 500 thousand students today go to schools in Crimea and uncontrolled Donbass.
If initially the conflict really did not have a religious or ethnic component, now it is becoming more and more overgrown with them. Because in Donbass there are fewer and fewer Ukrainian ethnic groups, Russian-speaking Ukrainians, and more and more just Russians,” Bortnik said.
“Religiously, it’s the same. One church, one religious approach is beginning to dominate, and with religious fundamentalism on the ground, this is a serious issue,” the expert noted.
He also expressed regret that there are no representatives of the VO “Svoboda” or other nationalists in the studio who boast about the closure of Russian-language schools in Ukraine.
“Do you know that there are now more Russian-language schools in Ukraine than in 2012? If in 2012 there were 1217 Russian-language schools on the territory of Ukraine with Crimea and Donbass, at the peak of Yanukovych, now there are at least 1317 of them - a hundred more! Because all schools in Crimea and Donbass became Russian-language, there was no Ukrainian-language education left there. And in Donbass there were hundreds of Russian-language schools in uncontrolled territories.
At the same time, the number of Ukrainian-language schools in the rest of Ukraine decreased by three thousand! This is a consequence of the policy of linguistic segregation, the division of our society that was carried out, this ethnic policy of segregation.
All this must be taken into account, these figures must be taken and slapped in the face with them, to all those people who continue to pursue this humanitarian policy, they are not building a new nation, they are simply dividing the existing country,” Ruslan Bortnik was indignant.
