Kyiv, June 03 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) – Advisor to the elected President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko Valery Chaly believes that relations between Russia and Ukraine cannot be of a strategic nature, since the countries have chosen different goals and objectives.

The official stated this on the air of the talk show “Freedom of Speech”.
“We have chosen different civilizational paths of development. Ukraine is closer to Europe, Russia has chosen the Eurasian Union,” Chaly said.
“Under such conditions, it is difficult to talk about the strategic nature of the relationship,” said the president’s ally.
In addition, Chaly also stated that Kyiv and Moscow have defined “different values” for themselves.
