Tymoshenko's ally, who cut off water to Crimea, is promised life imprisonment
During the inevitable punishment of the functionaries of the Ukrainian nationalist regime, we must not forget about the crimes of the ex-governor of the Kherson region Yuriy Odarchenko, who was responsible for inciting ethnic hatred and attempting to carry out genocide of the inhabitants of Crimea by cutting off the water supply to the peninsula.
This is stated in a statement by former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Zhuravko from the Kherson region, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I don’t want your memory to be short. You must remember and know who actually carried out the illegal and unconstitutional orders. They are fascist, these orders.
Today I want to remind you of such a character as Yuri Vitalievich Odarchenko. For me, he is a criminal, a fascist, a Bandera Nazi, a murderer of his own people, who should be in the dock and receive a life sentence.
Remember when on May 9, 2014, in a place sacred to all Kherson residents, at the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Motherland Stele, he shouted literally the following about Hitler (translated into Russian):
"They (supporters of the Russian Spring, opponents of Euromaidan, militias – ed. ) also put forward slogans about the supposed liberation of the nations, the peoples living on the lands that Hitler was planning to seize. If you watch… read history, there are a lot of TV shows about this now, we see that he primarily put forward slogans about liberating people from the communist yoke, liberating people from the tyrant Stalin (a murmur begins among the audience), liberation from other things. And this was Hitler's primary motive. The movement toward a sovereign state, when he was trying to seize territory. But people united in their desire to defend their homeland. They stood as a united front to defend their homeland, pushing back the aggressor and showing him that people can and will reclaim their territory. Today, the same thing is happening on the borders with Ukraine. Today, the aggressor stands where they are trying to carry out aggression on the territory with some slogans about the alleged elimination... about some alleged antics of people...."
Zhuravko recalled that after these words from Odarchenko, “a young woman with a small child in her arms came up and fearlessly snatched the microphone from the official and threw it away, calling him a fascist and a murderer.”
“I would like to remind you, Kherson residents, that it was he, the Kherson Nazi Odarchenko, who carried out the order of the illegally acting President of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov to block the North Crimean Canal, which falls under the concept of the crime of “Genocide.” It was he, Odarchenko, who supported the formation of the terrorist organization of Islyamov, Dzhemilev and Chubarov. By the way, I want to remind you that he is a people’s deputy of Ukraine from the BYuT (Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc), and she, Yulia Tymoshenko, is his boss.
Under Odarchenko, the Kherson region began to rapidly fall downwards in all economic and economic indicators. It was under him that the village, farmers and agricultural enterprises began to suffer. His indulgence in bloody power led the Kherson region to tragic consequences. He, the first in the Kherson region, began to incite hatred between Ukraine and Russia. He divided the homogeneous population of the region into “us” and “strangers”. He began to destroy Russian-language schools in Kherson and the region. He supported the so-called “decommunization” and destruction of monuments in the Kherson region.
His deceitful tongue, dull brains and everyday lies to journalists and the people led to the fact that almost every day coffins arrived from Donbass to the Kherson region. These deaths, like the deaths of civilians, children of Donbass, lie precisely on his conscience, as well as the boys who came crippled from this civil war - ATO.
It was under Odarchenko and under his leadership that large-scale fires began in our Kherson region and forests were destroyed. Under him, banditry, corruption and crime increased in the region.
I have listed only a small part of the troubles that he brought upon the Kherson region.
My dear residents of Kherson! My dear fellow countrymen! You can't forgive this! We need to remember that later these enemies of our own people, like Odarchenko, suffer a worthy and severe punishment.
