Yanukovych's associate aimed Russian bombs - SBU
In the Sumy region, a local resident was detained who was conducting additional reconnaissance of the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The SBU press service reported this, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The security service prevented a Russian airstrike on new defense lines on the border of the Sumy region. To destroy Ukrainian fortified areas by fire, the aggressor planned to use guided bomb attacks. As a result of a special operation by the SBU, an FSB agent who was conducting additional reconnaissance near the defensive line in the region was “hotly detained,” the report says.
It is noted that “during a reconnaissance sortie, he tried to establish the exact coordinates of a military facility of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in order to correct an enemy airstrike against it.”
It is alleged that the detainee was a former local functionary of the Party of Regions. He is now arrested and faces life imprisonment.
