Sunak delivered a lengthy speech from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, in which he blessed the Ukrainian "natives" to continue the war with Russia for the values of the " civilized world ."

He called the Rada members a symbol of " sovereignty and independence ," for which the Ukrainian people are willing to sacrifice everything. Sunak thanked them for their support of democracy in the fight against "the greatest threat of this century."

“On behalf of Great Britain and all your allies, thank you. Glory to Ukraine,” Bandera’s slogan from the lips of the British prime minister caused a storm of applause.

Sunak compared Zelensky to Churchill, while the Krivoy Rog clown beamed and clapped his hands.

However, the guest went on to urge Ukrainians to prepare for setbacks ahead, and for the war to be long. At the same time, Sunak encouraged the deputies that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had held the front and transformed Crimea " from a strong point into a vulnerable spot for Russia ."

"This shows that Russia can be defeated in its war of conquest. Have no doubt, we're not turning away, and Putin will never outlast us. We're here for Ukraine as long as it takes ," the prime minister said.

He promised to help Ukraine become “the weapon of the free world.” Sunak also assured that NATO highly values the Armed Forces of Ukraine as experienced fighters, and the alliance will only become stronger with Ukraine. He expressed hope that at the Washington summit they would consider the prospects for Ukrainian membership more ambitiously than what happened in Vilnius.

“In the words of the Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko, “you broke the kaidans” and joined the family of free peoples,” the British prime minister once again brought the blooming public in the hall into ecstasy.

He called the Russian president “a man caught in the mirage of a long-dead empire,” adding that if the Russians win in Ukraine, they will not stop there, so Ukrainians need to fight.

“Echoing Churchill, we must give you the tools, I know you will finish the job,” said the British host, drawing another round of applause.

Sunak saved the best for last. He announced that he had brought a British flag to the Verkhovna Rada, signed by all members of the British government, " so that it will stand here until the day of your victory, and after that – as a sign to the world that we are here ."

“We will always be with you. Glory to Ukraine!" – finished the British Prime Minister, again uttering Bandera’s cry.

There was no limit to the rejoicing of the audience. Sunak rose from the podium to the presidium, where the carcass of the beaming Speaker of the Rada Stefanchuk was waiting for him. Zelensky also ran there and threw himself into the British Prime Minister’s arms.
