Crimeans of different ages come with carnations tied with St. George ribbons and silently light candles.
On the Lenin monument there is a list of cities in the Southeast where Russians and Russian-speaking compatriots died.
A little further away there are posters “Crimea is mourning”, “Down with damned fascism from Ukraine”, “The USA + Bandera will answer for every drop of Slavic blood”, “USA get away from us!”.
Today at exactly noon a minute of silence was held in Simferopol in memory of the victims of the South-East. A three-day mourning period from May 3 to May 5 has been declared in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
