“The Logistics Support Units, in cooperation with Russian Railways and the Marine Fleet, carried out the transfer of personnel, equipment and supplies from the port of Kavkaz to the territory of Crimea. Logistics units of the Black Sea Fleet demonstrated to the minister several episodes of the exercise: loading armored vehicles and troops onto the large landing ship, loading ammunition onto a minesweeper and a submarine. The servicemen also practiced the tasks of replenishing fuel, extinguishing a fire on a ship and evacuating the wounded. In addition, during the exercises, training was conducted to “destroy” sabotage groups and repel an “underwater attack.”
