Lutsenko's chances of staying under Zelensky have gone to zero
The team of presidential election winner Volodymyr Zelensky believes that current Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko should resign, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Team member, ex-Minister of Finance Alexander Danilyuk said this at the European Business Association event “New 5 year challenge: Expectations. Hopes. Concerns".

“A separate position on Yuriy Lutsenko. I understand that now there is a colossal desire of the establishment to maintain the status quo. But Vladimir (Zelensky - ed.) made an important statement during the announcement of the election results: he believes that Lutsenko is a man of the past,” Danylyuk said.
“And he, if he wants to return to politics, but definitely resign from the post of prosecutor general, where people must come who will carry out real reform,” the adviser believes.
According to Danylyuk, in Ukraine in recent years, “quite a lot of activists have appeared who could apply for this position.”
“We have enough people who can prove themselves in this position and have a good reputation and strong public support. We have many anti-corruption activists,” Danilyuk noted.
“I would advise that one of them take this position,” he emphasized.
According to the adviser, the litmus test that determines changes in the country will be personnel appointments, namely the head of the SBU, the prosecutor general, the minister of foreign affairs and the minister of defense.
“These are four appointments that will determine the direction of movement in the future,” he added.
Earlier it became known that Lktsenko’s deputy, Sergei Gorbatyuk, who oversaw the investigation into crimes related to the Maidan era, resigned.
Lutsenko's chances of staying under Zelensky have plummeted to zero.
