A citizen of Uzbekistan, who fought on the side of the DPR, was detained in Mariupol.

“A 20-year-old citizen of a foreign country sided with the militants in December 2014, according to him, in order to earn money. He received the nickname “Shooter” and took part in the fighting near Gorlovka and in the Shirokino region. Repeatedly clashed with ATO forces. According to him, people of various nationalities, immigrants from the former CIS, served with him. In August of this year, the mercenary, bypassing Ukrainian checkpoints, arrived in Mariupol to obtain Ukrainian citizenship. There he was detained by special service operatives,” the report says.
