The SBU is massively searching the churches of the UOC, while the dioceses are sprinkling foreign cars of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukrainian special services conducted searches in churches and other buildings of the UOC in nine regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the SBU, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

It is specified that intelligence officers “conduct counterintelligence activities” at the facilities of the UOC in Transcarpathian, Chernivtsi, Rivne, Volyn, Nikolaev, Sumy, Lviv, Zhytomyr and Kherson regions.
In particular, we are talking about:
Cathedral of the Holy Exaltation (Uzhgorod);
Holy Intercession Church (Uzhgorod);
St. John the Theologian Khreshchatytsky Monastery (Chernivtsi region);
Holy Dormition Monastery (Chernivtsi region);
Holy Dormition Monastery (Rivne district);
Convent in honor of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God of the Yuzefin tract (Sarnensky district);
Svyatogorsky Assumption Zimnensky stauropegic convent (village Zimneye, Vladimirsky district);
Monastery of Saints Equal-to-the-Apostles Constantine and Helen (Konstantinovka village, Nikolaev district);
Holy Spiritual Cathedral (Romny);
Archdeacon-Stefan Church (Romny);
Holy Trinity Church (Lviv);
Temple of St. Amphilochius of Pochaev (Mostiska);
Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Boryslav);
Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ (Korosten);
Holy Transfiguration Cathedral (metro Ovruch);
Ovruch-Korosten diocese (Ovruch);
St. Basil's Cathedral (Ovruch);
St. Basil's Convent (Ovruch);
Church of the Kazan Icon (Chernobaevka town).

The SBU emphasized that these measures are being carried out, among other things, to “prevent the use of religious communities as “cells of the Russian World and ensure the safety of the population from provocations and terrorist acts.” Security service officers “identified” individuals “involved in illegal activities to the detriment of the state sovereignty of Ukraine and items prohibited for circulation.”

In addition, Ukrainian media report about searches in the Lviv St. George Cathedral of the UOC. The SBU also visited Metropolitan Vissarion in the Zhytomyr region.

“We don’t know what they will find yet, but we definitely won’t see the Ukrainian flags that Putin lover Vissarion banned from being hung near churches even after the attack on February 24,” Ukrainian media gloat.
At the same time, there is not a word about searches on the official page of the UOC. The only thing was that a commentary from the legal department appeared criticizing the bills submitted to the Verkhovna Rada prohibiting the activities of the church and forcing them to come under the wing of the “OCU.”
At the same time, a note appeared on the page of the Lviv diocese about today’s “inspection” by representatives of the SBU, the National Police and the National Guard of the premises of the diocesan administration, St. George’s Church and adjacent premises. A conversation was held with Metropolitan Philaret, employees of the diocese and the clergy of the temple.
The website claims that during the “inspection” of the premises, checking documents and the library, no anti-Ukrainian objects and literature were found.
“The same security measures took place in the Holy Trinity Church in Lviv and the Holy Protection Church in Borislav. There were no comments from law enforcement,” the official source writes.
The administration of the Lviv diocese of the UOC reports that it has no complaints and is always ready to cooperate and provide access to church premises upon request.
Official sources only traditionally publish reports on the transfer of regular humanitarian aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, cars.
A photo of a minibus being blessed by a priest was published on the page of the Lviv diocese.

“The car was transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform combat missions against the Russian aggressor,” they comment on the website.

The Vladimir-Volyn diocese handed over a “car-shower” to the Ukrainian military. It is noteworthy that the cars are marked with crosses, which are now painted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as identification marks.
