He stated this during a government meeting, Ukrainian News reports.
“They just wrote to me, I don’t know how to react to it. Searches are currently underway at the investment company Dragon Capital. How to react to this? They confiscate equipment there and so on,” he said.
Groysman stressed that he has no right to interfere in the affairs of law enforcement agencies, but instructed the government commissioner to ensure adequate operation of the company.
According to the Prime Minister's press secretary Dmitry Stolyarchuk, the head of government ordered to deal with the situation surrounding the investment fund Dragon Capital, where investigative actions are currently being carried out.
Dragon Capital clarified that the searches are related to accusations of illegal use of software.
Olga Beloblovskaya, head of the press service of Dragon Capital, announced this on her Facebook page.
“Now the SBU is conducting a search in our Dragon Capital office. Has a court decision to confiscate computer equipment. This is about illegal use of software,” she writes.
At the same time, according to her, the company legally and officially bought this program.
“They want to seize all computers and paralyze work. That’s how things are,” she concluded.
Let us remind you that Dragon Capital owns the Kiev publication “New Time”. One of the company's shareholders is former Czech minister Tomas Fiala.
"I think every other office in Kyiv has pirated software. But it's surprising that they're looking for it in a company whose shareholder is the American company Goldman Sachs, and whose director is George Soros's partner in investment projects in Ukraine, who also heads the Association of European Businesses in Ukraine. It's just too obvious and brutal. A wonderful message for foreign investors," commented Vitaliy Sych, editor-in-chief of Novoye Vremya, on his social media page.
