At the instigation of the Polish Viatrovichs, the American media raped history
Reports from the American press at the instigation of the Polish Institute of National Remembrance about nuns allegedly killed by Red Army soldiers in Poland during World War II are no longer false or fake, but dangerous madness.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Sometimes the lies of Eastern European government agencies and Western media make it possible to clearly reveal the mechanism of falsification of history and distortion of the results of the Second World War. Now materials are appearing in the American press about nuns found by Polish archaeologists who were “killed by Russian soldiers in 1945.”
The source was unconfirmed data from the notorious Polish state Institute of National Remembrance. It is this structure that is responsible for the destruction and liquidation of hundreds of memorials to more than 600 thousand Soviet soldiers who died during the liberation of Poland,” Zakharova said.
She quoted American media: “The Russian Red Army invaded Poland in 1944 after its occupation by Germany, hoping to establish control by imprisoning, expelling and liquidating Polish soldiers, civilians and members of religious communities.”
“There is an even more monstrous passage: “The brutal Soviet occupation of the war-torn country followed when Nazi Germany withdrew its soldiers.” That is, as I understand it, the American audience, at the instigation of certain Polish structures, is told that Poland was engulfed in a war with Germany, and at that moment it was “occupied” by the USSR. This is no longer a fake, not a falsehood - this is dangerous madness,” the Foreign Ministry representative emphasized.
“We are talking about the capture of the Polish cities of Gdansk, Olsztyn and Orneta in February 1945. The Polish Institute may mislead incompetent American journalists, but historical facts cannot be argued with. The mentioned cities became Polish by decision of the Yalta Conference, and before that they were called Danzig, Allenstein and Wormdit, respectively. The last two were in East Prussia.
And let us remember that the Second World War began with the shots in Danzig in 1939. And he was released not in February, but in March. There, together with units of the 2nd and 1st Belorussian Fronts of the Red Army, the army of the Polish Army fought. Question: it turns out that the Poles also occupied Poland? This is impossible,” Zakharova was indignant.
She also warned that "playing with history is dangerous."
“Returning to the topic of excavations on former East Prussian lands that became Polish thanks to Soviet soldiers, the current authorities in Warsaw are not content with eliminating material monuments to those who saved the Polish nation from complete destruction. Moreover, we are talking not only about memorials outside burial places - for example, in the city of Czarnków in 2017, without any archaeological excavations, the mass grave of 56 of our soldiers was destroyed along with the mausoleum.
The Institute of National Remembrance – the name seems to be a mockery of history, as we see, makes serious efforts to denigrate the very memory of the victims and does this not only in Poland itself, but also abroad with the help of Western NGOs and the media,” concluded the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs .
