The leader of the Batkivshchyna faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We cannot talk about elections in Donbass in the presence of almost 50 contingents of the Russian army and their mercenaries,” she emphasized. – Therefore, our conditions are simple.. We can hold elections only after all weapons have been withdrawn, the Russian Federation will withdraw all military contingents, both from among the hired bandits and representatives of the Russian army and special services, after all prisoners have been replaced and restored border. Once these conditions are met, we can hope that the elections will look at least a little like elections.”
