Russian women have learned to beat saboteurs and survive at sea
The Black Sea Fleet successfully completed an experiment to create the first female crew on a patrol boat.
The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The female members of the ship's crew underwent intensive combined arms training courses and learned the specialties of a boat commander, electrician mechanic and helmsman-signalman.

“Directly in the Black Sea Fleet, female servicemen were trained to perform practical actions to prepare a boat for going to sea, control it and safely navigate in various shipping areas and environmental conditions on the Mostik interactive simulator.” When going to sea, they independently performed all the duties of their positions, carried out maintenance of the power plant, navigation equipment, parts and mechanisms of the patrol boat.
During the exercise to patrol the waters of the Black Sea Fleet ships' base, the crew conducted training on anti-sabotage defense, as well as on combating the survivability of the ship. The full female crew successfully completed combat training exercises in practical grenade throwing and shooting from standard weapons,” the message says.
PolitNavigator previously reported that the first Russian all-female crew of the Raptor counter-sabotage boat conducted exercises in the Black Sea . Raptor-class boats are designed for patrols, search and rescue operations, and the transport of landing forces in coastal seas, straits, and river estuaries.
