Protopresbyter of the UOC Kyiv Patriarchate, unrecognized in the Orthodox world, Sergius (Fomin) (Donetsk diocese) stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“I saw what happened in Donetsk and am very concerned about what could happen in the city of Kyiv. It all started with the Moscow Patriarchate. People and monasteries prepared weapons, leaflets, flags, etc. This was all concentrated in the Moscow Patriarchate. The population was raised by sermons through the Moscow Patriarchate. When the first rallies of the so-called Donetsk people took place in Donetsk, there were no Donetsk people there. There were people brought from Rostov, Kursk and other regions. Most of the scans were in pure patois.
And knowing these Russian technologies... these brought people are already in Kyiv. They are somewhere at the bases, somewhere they have rented apartments, somewhere in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. And provocations may occur,” says a representative of a schismatic confession.
