If in terms of military victories it is difficult to talk about any time frames, then leveling the level of social standards of citizens of the Russian Federation on the territory of the LDPR with the level of the Rostov region is a completely solvable task within a year.
This was stated by ex-deputy of the Odessa City Council Alexander Vasilyev during a conversation with journalists on the sidelines of the forum “Unity of Russians: Protection of Rights and Freedoms,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"For me, as an Odesa resident, this ( the protection of Russians across the frontline – ed. ) is the most pressing issue that will be addressed at this forum. No one has ready-made recipes for how we will do this, and in order to develop these mechanisms, they must be discussed, at least today... Issues related to the territories that remained part of Ukraine, such as Odesa, Kharkiv, and so on, must also be addressed.
It seems to me that social issues need to be developed, because what was said in the message to the Federal Assembly is so that Russian citizens, who are now living in large numbers on the territory of the LPR-DPR, receive the full range of social rights and opportunities that today exist in large numbers. land - these are social payments, child benefits.
This is a very important line, so that in fact we must come to a situation where Donbass will be the same subject of the Russian Federation. Let it be de facto and not de jure, but there should be no difference between the Rostov region and the territory of the DPR from the point of view of social standards in the first place,” Vasiliev said.
“I think that what I’m talking about now doesn’t require anything super complicated at all... When we talk about those territories within Ukraine, when we talk about some military issues, it’s difficult to talk about timing. And when we talk about social standards that are due to any citizen of the Russian Federation, no matter where he lives, then this level can be leveled within a year, it seems to me,” added the Odessa resident.
