Russia opened a criminal case against the fake Ukrainian “prosecutor’s office” and the “ARC police”
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against employees of the fake “ARC Prosecutor’s Office” and “ARC Police” who are shielding the organizers of the riots near the walls of the Crimean Parliament on February 26, 2014, when two local residents died during clashes with pro-Ukrainian militants.
We are talking about the investigation of the case against the deputy head of the Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, Akhtem Chiygoz, who was sentenced to eight years as an organizer of the riots, but was then released by exchange and handed over to Kiev through the mediation of Turkey.
In Ukraine, the persecution of Chiygoz was considered illegal and cases were opened against Crimean law enforcement officers. The Russian Investigative Committee, in turn, considered the decisions of the Ukrainian security forces illegal.
“The actions of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies contradict not only the law, but also common sense, and the names of units associated with a constituent entity of the Russian Federation are only provocative.
Based on this fact, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case against employees of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies under Part 2 of Article 299 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - illegal bringing of obviously innocent people to criminal liability,” the Investigative Committee said.
