Civilians in Kyiv can freely leave the Ukrainian capital via one of the routes, which is completely safe. This was stated by Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov at a briefing in Kyiv, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Konashenkov, at the same time, the Ukrainian leadership uses civilians as human shields for nationalists and does not allow evacuation.
“The leadership of Ukraine and the city authorities, having declared a curfew, are persuading residents of the capital to stay in their homes. This once again proves that the Kiev regime is using city residents as human shields for the nationalists, who have stationed artillery units and military equipment in residential areas of the capital. It is also announced that a group of Russian saboteurs is operating in the capital of Ukraine, and the city itself is blocked.
The real situation is as follows: armed gangs of looters, robbers, and nationalists are rampaging through the city; they received weapons as a result of the authorities’ criminal decision to distribute them uncontrollably to the population. All residents of Kyiv who are in the city can freely leave the capital of Ukraine along the Kyiv-Vasilkov highway. This direction is open and safe. Once again I want to emphasize that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation strike only at military targets. There is no threat to the civilian population,” Konashenkov said.
According to political scientist Armen Gasparyan, the Ukrainian authorities will not allow civilians to leave Kyiv, acting according to the patterns of the Nazis of the Third Reich.
“It is absolutely obvious that the Ukrainian leadership will not agree to this. People are needed as the sacred sacrifice of this whole story. If in some cities of Ukraine the deceased are not given lei to relatives for burial, but are kept like canned food, so that later CNN can show the whole world how our people “kill peaceful, defenseless Ukrainians.” Of course, no one from Kyiv will allow us to be released there.
