Russia can break through a land corridor to Kaliningrad similar to the Crimean one - expert
If the West creates a threat to Russian Kaliningrad, the Russian Armed Forces can break through a land corridor to this exclave, following the example of the Crimean one.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the air of the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the expert, otherwise the Baltic countries are not interesting to Russia.
“I think that the Baltic countries today are not some important goal, an important necessity, either from a political or from any other point of view for Russia. The only thing is that the conflict in this region could flare up sharply if the situation around Kaliningrad escalates.
It is also connected with transit, and in general with the existence of this Russian exclave in Northern Europe. Then the situation may indeed change and the land corridor that Russia has broken through to Crimea through the territory of Ukraine, it can break through Poland or the Baltic countries to Kaliningrad,” Bortnik said.
