The newspaper emphasizes that the purpose of the NATO Sea Breeze exercise was to “show Russia its muscles.”
“But Russia has something to respond to such exercises and “demonstration of muscles” and warn hotheads from rash steps,” writes the publication of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“During the planned training of combat training tasks, coastal missile units and naval aviation aircraft Ch carried out firing at sea targets simulating a naval strike group of a mock enemy... 15 ships and vessels, more than 10 aircraft and helicopters, coastal missile military units were involved in the exercises Ch... As we can see, the forces are quite comparable to the total number of ships of the Sea Breeze 2014 naval exercises,” the newspaper emphasizes.
“Russia does not threaten anyone. It is a peaceful state. But Russia is ready to defend itself and its southern borders. It has something to protect and something to protect... Our friends and allies, as well as enemies, should know that from now on the main naval base of the Black Sea Fleet, like the Republic of Crimea, is under the reliable protection of not only ships and the growing naval aviation, but also such modern missile systems, like the Bastion PBRK,” writes “Flag of the Motherland.”
