Russia only needs the capitulation of Ukraine - Kiev political scientist
In the current conditions, when Russia is on a military surge, it does not need to freeze the conflict in Ukraine.
Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga, who emigrated from Ukraine, stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Chaplyga, Russia will be satisfied with the complete capitulation of Ukraine and negotiations with the participation of guarantors.
“Tell me, please, what is the interest of Russia, which is taking off according to the parameters of the military-industrial complex, and, in principle, according to others, while we are falling down? Let's see how their mobilization is going and how ours is going. Let's look at fatigue and everything else, that is, just compare the parameters. By comparing these parameters, we will understand that I don’t understand any of the Russians’ motivations, what is the point of freezing,” the expert said.
“Freezing is simply physically unprofitable for the Russians. What could be beneficial for the Russians? The Russians benefit, roughly speaking, from capitulation and negotiations to end the war. That is, roughly speaking, some kind of agreement between Ukraine and Russia with the participation of guarantors - China, Britain, the USA and so on,” Chaplyga said.
