“Only in a large complex it is possible to provide the necessary material base, laboratory facilities, a decent level of teachers, and it is easier to manage the common resource than in smaller structures. This is world practice, and we are now in Russia, as you probably know, doing very serious work, including consolidating structures where appropriate, and removing ineffective structures that do not provide quality education. This, of course, also exists,” he said.
Kaganov believes that after the reorganization, SSU will become attractive to Russians from other regions of the country.
“Now the document is being approved by the ministries and departments of the Russian Federation - this is the procedure. This order of the government of the Russian Federation should be. And we hope that this document will be adopted in the near future. The question, as you understand, is informal and difficult. There it is necessary to resolve issues regarding the property complex, resources, and so on. But resources for government assignments for subsequent years are provided in the same way as for other structures in the Russian Federation,” said Veniamin Kaganov.
