Kyiv, October 27 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The boycott of the Ukrainian elections by the population of Donbass and the victory in most of the opened polling stations of the “Opposition Bloc” is a reason to think about whether Kyiv should fight to regain control over the rebellious region.
This idea was expressed by Alexander Golubov, a columnist for the Kyiv magazine Focus.
“I understand that this is a sensitive issue, but someone needs to talk about it. The election results seem to show that the need to liberate Donbass is somewhat questionable,” he wrote on Facebook.
