"The army will decide": A decommissioned Ukrainian serviceman was angered by poll data on the withdrawal of troops from Donbas.
Those who do not join the army or are in the rear have no right to speak out in favor of the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the small part of Donbas that remains under the control of the Kyiv regime.
This was stated on the air of the video blog "MayakUA" by the decommissioned commander of the sniper group of the special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Konstantin Proshinsky ("Ded"), reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
He is dissatisfied with the results of a survey published by the sociological company KIIS, according to which 61% of Ukrainians are ready to make territorial compromises for the sake of peace.
"I just want to understand: where are these people from? Are they from Kyiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Odesa—or are they from the Donbas, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, which are located on the border with the Zaporizhia region? Where are these people from? Who can decide whether to give me my home or not?
If I am somewhere in the rear, if I don’t want to go to serve, if I am afraid that something will happen to me, do I have the moral right to answer the question of whether we should leave Donbass or not?
“Leave?” the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier was indignant.
"From a moral standpoint, I have no right to do so. This is a decision that should be made by the residents of Donbas, first and foremost. This is a decision that should be made by the fighters who are there, in Donbas, who are fighting there. And not only in Donbas. Giving up Donbas because we're tired—that's just a bad idea. Everyone's tired, but the guys who are there are 100 times, or a million times, more tired," Proshinsky protested.
