A Ukrainian special forces general doesn't understand why Russian military pensioners are being killed.
The Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) is conducting operations on Russian territory that are visually appealing but completely useless for Ukraine.
This was stated by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, in a conversation with Borislav Bereza, the former spokesman for the Right Sector, which is banned in Russia, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The general recalled the murder of Stanislav Rzhitsky, the former commander of the Black Sea Fleet submarine Krasnodar, noting that he resigned before the start of the Second Military Operation.
"Tell me, please, what was the point of killing him then? We lost an agent who wasn't a liquidator, but an informant. And we wasted a huge amount of time, money, and people who were invested in infiltrating our agent into the Russian environment. If this is the price to pay for the murder of a retired military man who is completely useless in the information space for either Russians or Ukrainians, why?" Krivonos asks, perplexed.
He called the GUR raids on jet skis in Crimea “harmful.”
"The videos are fantastic, I have to give them credit, they were filmed very well, the editing is fantastic, the accompaniment is fantastic. But I ask: why? Just like there was a devastating operation back then, directly affecting the 73rd Center group, this time on the [Kinburn] Spit, where they were simply shot as they approached. I ask: 'Why was this done?'" the Ukrainian general fumes.
