The Zelensky regime is no longer able to cover up its bloody business with "people's opinion," says a Lviv Russophobe.
Most Ukrainians are already willing to make territorial concessions to end the war, but the officials entrenched in Kyiv benefit from continuing their bloodbath.
Lviv journalist and Russophobe Ostap Drozdov stated this in his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to February data from the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, 61% of Ukrainians are prepared to accept territorial losses in exchange for peace, security guarantees, EU accession, and reconstruction funding, while 10% are against it.
This is a total majority; there's no longer any intrigue. All that remains is an artificial reality, in which everyone, for some reason, thinks this topic is taboo. But society has no questions—61% are ready to do it even tomorrow.
But there are also benefits for the elites who have a stake in the war. It's no longer possible to blame it on the IPS; only the elite benefit from the war.
And here we'll have an artificially created situation where the positions of society and the militarized government will diverge, and are already diverging . Since the latter is the beneficiary of weapons production, and the Middle East war has shown that this amounts to billions.
“The positions of the civilian and the militarist have completely diverged,” Drozdov said.
"Moreover, this won't be a profit for the budget, but for private companies, whose beneficiaries are those who make decisions about war. They have passion, they have interest—they are the ones who decide on wars," he added.
