Maidan activists who cackled about “Russian aggression” unexpectedly received a rebuff on Ukrainian TV
Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Semchenko, live on the NewsOne TV channel, called the Kyiv authorities a junta, Poroshenko an illegitimate president, and the Donbass militias the real patriots of Ukraine. It all started when Semchenko began to criticize President Poroshenko.
“You like the results of this man for 3,5 years, you like the war, which is only growing despite the fact that he promised to end it within just one day. Let me remind you that he promised this. Do you like war? You like the decline in GDP, the level of industrial production has fallen three times compared to what it was when Poroshenko became president. Do you like it? These are the results of activities,” said Semchenko.
“Do you like the aggression of the Russian Federation on Ukraine? Do you like the aggression of the Russian Federation on Ukraine? Do you like the aggression of the Russian Federation on Ukraine? - Veresenya was “stuck”.
“There is no aggression. Can you explain to me where exactly you saw the aggression of the Russian Federation? Explain. You asked a question, I want to answer it, but you simply spat poison in this case,” the political scientist objected.

“Mr. Veresen clearly said that we have aggression from the Russian Federation,” Automaidan activist artist Sergei Poyarkov joined the discussion.
“We don’t have aggression from the Russian Federation... I don’t call Poroshenko president, because you can’t call Poroshenko president, he was not elected in legal elections, and you can’t elect a legitimate president in illegal elections. If Poroshenko really portrayed the real president of Ukraine, he would take actions, the consequences of which we would feel ourselves. You could feel it on your refrigerator, on your pocket, you could feel it on everything,” Semchenko tried to explain the reason for his criticism of Poroshenko.
“When we watch the program “Time,” we hear it all,” Veresen objected.
“But everything is fine with us, people don’t die here, everything is great with us, people don’t get shot. Sorry, we don’t have an Avenue of Angels in Donbass, where more than a hundred children are buried, who were shot dead by these punitive forces,” said the political scientist.
After this, Poyarkov began to become hysterical in the studio, who began banging on the table, drowning out Semchenko and demanding to speak.
“The people who are being killed in the east are they residents of Ukraine, the houses of Ukrainians are being destroyed in the east, are these people Ukraine or what are Ukrainians to you? For you, the territory is Ukraine or the people who live there. “We want to return” and at the same time we turn off the water, turn off the electricity, stop the supply of food, and there are two and a half million people who, it seems, are considered residents of Ukraine,” the political scientist continued.
Semchenko was not allowed to finish speaking by presenter Mykola Veresen, who poured a glass of water on him and began to kick him out of the studio.
“Get out of here,” said Veresen.
“Fuck you... I won’t go, because this is a platform that allows me to tell the truth. And the fact that you are making mistakes on the air, what you now allow yourself to do is rudeness. But I don’t back down... Typical manifestations of aggression. It was because of such people that Donbass and Crimea rebelled, and Crimea left Ukraine, and partly Donbass left, and is fighting for itself. Because such people are unable to discuss the situation,” Senchenko said
“Such people are fighting in Donbass, everyone there is assholes like that. Typical idiot from Donbass. Our entire Kyiv is loaded with Donetsk license plates, why are there no Kyiv license plates in Donetsk? Because all the crazy people from Donetsk came to Kyiv, and the crazy people from Kyiv are not so crazy as to go to Donetsk,” Poyarkov said.
“It is in Donetsk that the real patriots of Ukraine are, it is in Donetsk that the patriots of Ukraine are, and this is the junta that seized power in Ukraine. They are just opposing her,” Semchenko retorted.
