Referring to eyewitnesses, he clarified that direct hits were recorded in multi-storey buildings on Vatutina Avenue and Shkolny Boulevard.
“Arrivals on Mira Ave., st. 50 years of the USSR, blvd. Shevchenko, Teatralny Ave., near the railway hospital, campus, there are fires and smoke. In kindergarten No. 15, windows and doors flew out,” Kulemzin said.
The DPR office at the Joint Fire Control and Coordination Center indicates that at least eight apartment buildings, a dormitory, and a shopping center were damaged.
“Damage was recorded to the building of MBDOU Nursery-Garden No. 15 of the city of Donetsk, damage to the building of the student clinic, damage to the building of educational building No. 7 of Donetsk National Technical University was recorded,” the representative office added.
And Izvestia correspondent Stanislav Grigoriev, who visited the scene of the shelling, said that one of the strikes fell on the parking lot of the Stolichny business center - the cars parked there were completely burned.
“All these missiles were scattered like a fan across residential areas in an absolutely chaotic manner,” Grigoriev said.
