“About 03:00 on 18.02.17/35/XNUMX, during military exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Genichesk region of the Kherson region, near the border with Crimea, an emergency occurred. An armored personnel carrier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine knocked down an electrical pole carrying XNUMX thousand volts in the area of the village of Moskalenko at full speed. In connection with this, most of the settlements of the Genichesk region were cut off.
In addition, they were deprived of mobile communications, since the communication towers were without electricity.
In response to the claims from Khersonoblenergo, the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine simply sent.
According to witnesses, the crew of the armored personnel carrier was extremely drunk. And he was not even able to get out of the stuck armored vehicle.
Only after lunch did electricians manage to restore power to populated areas.
