Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Alexander Shelest, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The supreme commanders must go to the front line, meet with generals, this is their job. So, Putin went there, and Zelensky went to Avdievka. What's so exceptional about this? Everyone went because everyone understands that it’s about to begin. The end of April and the beginning of May is coming soon, and the offensive will begin.
Putin went to see what was ready or not ready there, and to listen to reports. Moreover, in the Kherson direction and in the Lgugan direction, the most possible directions of attack from the Ukrainian Armed Forces are from the north or towards Kherson, Zaporozhye,” Karasev said.
Zelensky, according to him, also went to support the commanders before the offensive.
“Everyone is now waiting to see what day the operation will begin. Probably, the dates are already approximately clear, intelligence and counterintelligence are working. So now comes the decisive battle. I don’t think that it will be in the form of, say, the Battle of Kursk, the Battle of Kulikovo Field, or like during the Napoleonic Wars, but there will be some, perhaps, serious offensive impulses or attempts at breakthroughs, or breakthroughs.
Not along the entire front line, but where the main resource will be concentrated. Support your generals and your soldiers. Our president is before the attack, they are before our attack, how to defend and so on, what strategy will be developed,” the political scientist added.
