“I know Mrs. Tymoshenko personally. Although she calls for shooting Russians with atomic weapons, I think that this was done during an emotional explosion... At one time we had quite good business relations with her,” Putin said during a television broadcast, recalling the current gas contract.
However, according to Putin, now the “leader of the presidential race” in Ukraine is Petro Poroshenko, who “has a significant part of his business in Russia” - “he produces sweets and caramel.”
Putin dismissed Tymoshenko's call to shoot Russians as an "emotional outburst" and reminded Poroshenko about doing business in Russia.
