Prigozhin started a public quarrel with Slutsky - the founder of the PMC wants to occupy the niche of the LDPR?
The founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, published a sharp response to information that appeared in the media about his invitation to the LDPR rally, which is scheduled to take place on December 12 in the Kremlin Hall of Columns.
Prigozhin stated that he treats the current head of the LDPR, Leonid Slutsky, with “deepest disrespect .”

“I previously communicated with Slutsky for a long time and I know him only from the bad side... I don’t remember examples when Slutsky helped me or my colleagues, being the head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs. Including the release of Maxim Shugaley from captivity in a Libyan prison. Or he helped during the accusation of terrorism against the Wagner PMC and during the uproar associated with the Troll Factory’s interference in the American elections of various years,” Prigozhin listed.
According to liberal political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky, by publicly confronting Slutsky, the founder of the PMC is demonstrating that he “ could create a political force capable of occupying the niche of the ‘lean’ LDPR .”
Former assistant to the State Duma speaker Anastasia Kashevarova considers Prigozhin’s rhetoric inappropriate.
“Evgeny Viktorovich, why did you unsheath your sledgehammer on us? We're our own. I used Slutsky’s money to buy copters for the Wagnerites. I’m working with the relatives of your fighters... As a caring person, I don’t want those who work for Victory to conflict with each other... Well, guys, I’m throwing in the white scarf,” writes Kashevarova.
