Shame of the Pentagon: the Chinese stole a US underwater drone in front of American sailors
A Chinese warship stole an American underwater drone in front of the crew of the USS Bowditch.

CNN reports this , citing sources in official circles.
The incident occurred in the waters of the South China Sea. The Bowditch stopped 100 miles from the port in Subic Bay to pick up two underwater drones. However, at the same moment, the Chinese ship launched a boat, the crew of which took one of the drones.
It is noted that the American side did not receive any explanations from the Chinese via radio communications. CNN notes that Chinese military personnel often refer to American oceanographic research vessels as spies.
In this case, the publication emphasizes, the drone simply measured the conditions of the ocean.
The Pentagon has not yet officially commented on the incident.
