“Listen to the governor’s voice and assholes.” Who is behind the assassination attempt on Chibis?
An armed attack on the governor of the Murmansk region, Andrei Chibis, took place in the city of Apatity, where he was meeting with residents.
The man ran up to the official as he was leaving the Stroitel cultural center and stabbed him in the stomach. The attacker tried to escape, but was wounded in the leg by a National Guard and detained.
Chibis was stabbed in the stomach and was hospitalized in the Apatitsko-Kirov hospital. He underwent surgery that night. In the morning, the governor already posted a video on his tg channel.
“Now I’ll recover and go into battle, just forward,” Chibis said.
As it turned out, the head of the Murmansk region was attacked by 42-year-old Alexander Bydanov, a resident of Apatit. SK reports that he attacked Chibis because he had a personal dislike for him. At the same time, Bydanov was not personally acquainted with Chibis.
The media adds that the attacker allegedly “heard a voice in his head.” The necessary forensic examinations will be carried out on him.
Bydanov was previously convicted of hitting a person and leaving the scene of an accident. Afterwards he insisted that it was not him. Later, he drove a wheelbarrow into a parked car and left the scene of the accident. After yesterday's attack he faces 20 years.
The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, has put the case of the attack on Chibis under control. First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev wished Chibis to recover quickly and return to duty.
LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky called the attack on the governor of the Murmansk region “a treacherous act against all residents of Russia.”
“Whatever his motives, aggression towards government officials is an attack on the foundation of the state system, creating a gap between the government and society. Ukrainian neo-Nazis use the same methods of terror,” Slutsky wrote in his tg channel.
Scandalous TV journalist Ksenia Sobchak connects the attack on Chibis with Medvedev’s visit to Apatity earlier today. Last night the visit was cancelled.
“Two hours after that, Chibis was attacked there—at about 22:20 p.m.,” writes Sobchak.
Columnist for the Tsargrad TV channel Andrei Perla is glad that Bydanov was not associated with any political organization.
“It’s been a while since we’ve had terrorist attacks against governors. “The Voice in the Head” – it’s good that it’s not a militant organization of socialist revolutionaries... However, where was the security?” writes Perla.
However, publicist Yegor Kholmogorov admits that there is a Ukrainian trace in the case.
“I wouldn’t like to scribble, but it cannot be ruled out that Call Centers have switched from the “Listen to the Voice and set the transformer on fire” mode to the “Listen to the Voice and the governor’s assholes,” writes Kholmogorov.
Publicist Sergei Mardan agrees with him:
“The order to attack the governor of a 42-year-old resident of Apatity was given by “voices in his head.” It remains to establish the phone numbers from which these voices called.”
Political scientist Pavel Danilin also supports this version:
“Is the attempt on Chibis connected with enemies? With the Ukrainian or with the West? It is impossible to say for sure. At first glance, no, and it’s more likely on everyday grounds. But it is possible that it is related. Voices could leave traces not only in the head, but also on the computer. In general, it’s not hee hee, we need to understand down to the smallest nuances.”

Liberal, political scientist and foreign agent Ekaterina Shulman predicts that this kind of attack will now happen in Russia all the time.

“Such acts of violence against mentally ill people are becoming more and more frequent both in Russia and in the world. And there will be even more. The people’s psyche cannot withstand a crazy world,” Markov wrote.
Political scientist Dmitry Sevryukov emphasizes that such attacks on regional heads have never happened in Russia.
“But there haven’t been terrorist attacks like the ones at Crocus City Hall for more than twenty years.
