Poroshenko was offered to be friends with Erdogan against Hungary
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko should approach Turkey with a proposal to jointly celebrate the anniversary of the Battle of Mohacs.
Ukrainian political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko published such a proposal on his Facebook page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Thus, Bondarenko wrote that in the light of modern Ukrainian-Hungarian relations, it would be logical for Petro Poroshenko to approach Turkish President Erdogan with a proposal to create a joint organizing committee to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Battle of Mohacs.

“The battle itself took place on August 29, 1526 and was of great political significance: the Hungarian troops were completely defeated by the army of Sultan Suleiman, the young king Lajos drowned in a swamp, the Ottoman Empire established its dominance over a large territory of Central Europe,” the expert recalled.
At the same time, the author of the publication easily and logically explained how Ukraine relates to this historical event.
“Firstly, the troops of the Crimean Khan took part in the battle (and Crimea is Ukraine?). Secondly, a representative of the Ukrainian Nation, Nastya “Roksolana” Lisovskaya, was delegated to Suleiman’s harem. And what would a victory be without her inspiring influence on the Sultan? In a word, we will respond to the unfriendly actions of Budapest in the traditional Ukrainian spirit - we love to celebrate various anniversaries, is it Konotop or Brody? But in Hungary they will definitely appreciate it and be scared. Is Russia scared? – Bondarenko sneers.
As PolitNavigator reported, in addition to the openly tense relations with Hungary, Ukraine could become embroiled in a similar conflict with other European countries.
