"Unfortunately, there's no good news yet. At this point, there's not a single piece of news. There's still hope," he said, citing several "unacceptable conditions" from the Russian side, RIA Novosti reports , citing Agence France-Presse.
"The meeting is concluded. The final public communiqué is expected to be released at 12:00," Byt.by reports.
In turn, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Pavel Klimkin said that negotiations are continuing. “We continue to work, we work continuously in all possible formats,” he said.
As journalist Dmitry Smirnov reports on his Twitter account, Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande are in a room behind closed doors. Later Petro Poroshenko joined them. “Basically, journalists are now playing the game ‘Find the four leaders in the Palace of Independence and get a prize,’” he joked.
