It’s time to respond to US provocations with Russian provocations - Mikheev
Before building any policy in the American direction, Russia needs to decide what it wants from the United States - civil war and the collapse of the state or the emergence of a leader with whom it can finally establish a constructive dialogue.
Political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this on the Rossiya1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Stop being a potential victim. We are always in the position of a potential victim,” Mikheev noted.
According to him, it is time for Russia to make up its mind regarding the United States.
“Our attitude towards America: first, define the goal. This is such an ambitious task. I understand that some people immediately get goosebumps. What do we want inside America? Do we want America to completely collapse, for a civil war to start there, or for a president to come in with whom we can establish a dialogue, or something else?
One might say, what's the point of setting such goals if we depend on the dollar? I don't care what we depend on! If we don't set any goals, we will forever depend on the dollar. We need to set goals, and the most ambitious, the biggest ones - what do we want inside America, how do we want it to happen there in the future, how is this beneficial to us?
Second, what do we want on the external contour, including from American policy?
Third, we are always waiting for provocations from the Americans. Or maybe we can arrange a couple of provocations ourselves? Maybe we should try to get the Americans to answer ourselves? For now we are just waiting for the Americans to plan a provocation. What are we going to do then? Ay, what will we do when the cold comes. Or maybe provoke them somewhere ourselves? They say - we can do this, we can do that, the Americans are dangerous. Let’s provoke them to take some action and see what they can do, what they can’t do, where they will go and where they won’t,” explained the political scientist.
Otherwise, in his opinion, the initiative will always be on the American side, and the United States will actually measure the time allotted to Russia.
“This is how, in my opinion, we need to act. Otherwise, we will look at the clock and count how many minutes, hours or seconds are left until our death,” concluded Mikheev
