Polish carriers decided to switch to a XNUMX-hour border blockade for Ukrainian trucks.
This was stated by the official representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, on air during the mandatory telethon broadcast in Ukraine, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
He clarified that Polish carriers, who have been blocking three checkpoints on the border with Ukraine since November 6, will begin a round-the-clock blockade of the Medika-Shegini checkpoint from November 27.
The representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine added that until yesterday the blocking of traffic at this checkpoint took place from 10:00 to 21:00 Kyiv time, after which Ukrainian trucks could move.
According to Demchenko, local protesters unblocked the movement of trucks on the border with Slovakia.
Let us recall that Polish carriers are demanding the abolition of the benefits for their Ukrainian colleagues introduced by Brussels after the start of the SVO, accusing the latter of unfair competition.
